Deveren Farley Found Art Sculptures

Deveren Farley is one of the youngest artists currently displaying work at Brownstone Gallery. However, he is also one of the hardest working and driven artists we work with and we absolutely love his pieces. They are captivating and attract the attention of children and adults alike. There is no such thing as a boring Deveren Farley sculpture. Many of our clients are caught off guard when they first see one of Deveren's pieces, then a big smile grows across their face as they almost always ask "what is this?" As they slowly gaze at it from all angles, they recognize its larger form, a chair or a camera or a musical instrument, but it takes time for their minds to identify the hundreds and thousands of smaller parts that make up the greater whole. Words  like "fascinating" "interesting" and "wow" usually come next followed by questions like "How long did it take him to make this?" and "Where does he get all of his metal?" and "Where is he from?" and "How much does this weigh?". If you would like to experience Deveren's work in person, stop the gallery and see for yourself what all of the fuss is about. If you would like to commission Deveren to create a one-of-a-kind piece for your home, office or yard just let let us know.

Wikipedia definition: The term found art—more commonly found object (French: objet trouvĂ©) or readymade—describes art created from the undisguised, but often modified, use of objects that are not normally considered art, often because they already have a non-art function.
